Though I assume this does not mean the fans will work harder. Now, instead of direct fan control, GPU tweak 2 offers a "Temperature target" slider. The fan control is locked out on all software I tried. At least on my GL503VM, I can't even set a fan curve. since my room sometimes gets hot If you mean the little "Overboost" button, I tried that and I saw no difference in how the fans moved on my system. Under Utilities, there's a "show all" button. Here's the thing, when I went for the Drivers and Downloads section, after clicking on the OS selection space, I couldn't get it to display the downloads using Chrome. If no luck there, try contacting Asus support to see if you can get yourself a download link for the gaming center.ĮDIT: I think I found your gaming center. Still a quick check in the bios wouldn't hurt. Not sure what to use for CPU fan since that fan is as locked as the GPU one. i used to use ROG Gaming Center to boost the fan to the Max to get my CPU temp down to 80C even though not always as effective. i limit it to 75C and it never goes above that while using GPUTweak. I worry more about not frying my GPU (which could shoot to 92c easily on Sword Art Online FB) than losing some framerate once in a blue moon. It may mean that the GPU will begin throttling a bit earlier, which is fine for me.
